Indiana High School Bowling Advisory Board Names Inaugural All-State Team for Boys and Girls
Indianapolis, Indiana—The Indiana High School Bowling Program (IHSB) has named its first All-State Teams for Boys and Girls. The application process was open to all IHSB Varsity bowlers, Freshman through Senior class who met the criteria. The Criteria was based on four areas including; Baseline Average, Conference Average, High Game/Series and playoff scores. Three All State Teams were selected by the Indiana High School Bowling Advisory Board including a First Team, Second Team and Honorable Mention (5 members on each team) for boys and girls.

All State First Team honorees for both Boys and Girls will be announced live on ESPN at the Denny’s PBA World Championships on Sunday, March 26th at Woodland Bowl, Indianapolis, Indiana. The IHSB Program, in its seventh season, honored both Academic All State Teams and All State Teams for both Boys and Girls. Honorees for the Academic All State Teams were recognized at the 2006 High School Bowling State Finals at Western Bowl in Indianapolis, Indiana on Saturday, February 25. The 2005-2006 regular high school bowling season which included 319 teams represented 167 Indiana high schools, will end February 25. The program is sponsored by the Indiana Bowling Centers Association and bowling centers throughout Indiana. This season, 95 host-bowling centers financially supported the High School Bowling program including the coaches’ salaries, uniforms, bowling fees, awards and college scholarships.
